Listed below are Policies, Rules and Procedures on The Group Professional Networking Association.
- Only one member from any given profession or business;
- Perspective members should be working full-time at the profession which they are applying to represent;
- Professionalism is our first priority, when we refer someone to another group member it is a reflection on ourselves;
- All applications are reviewed by the Executive Directors prior to acceptance;
- The Group reserves the right to reject an application for membership if a candidate is deemed to be unsuitable;
- Group meetings are contducted on a weekly basis;
- Perspective members are invited to attend up to three meetings before joining. We recognize that joining an organization such as The Group is a commitment and we invite our prospective members to interview us;
- Acceptance of an application is processed within one week.
- To provide fellow members, their clients, their friends and families with quality products and services;
- To provide other members with quality referrals and inform the parties involved with as much detail as needed to aid the introduction of the referral;
- To contribute to a positive and supportive professional environment where members can grow their businesses;
- To treat other members with the utmost respect and loyalty during meetings and all professional interactions;
- To follow-up with referrals in a timely fashion, remembering your conduct is a reflection of the person who referred you.
Our meetings are held weekly at the Smitty's Restaurant in Clayton Park from 8:30AM until 10:00AM. The typical agenda of one of the meetings is the following:
- 15 minute meet-and-greet
- Group Commercials
- Member Commercials
- Educational Topic (15 Minute Presentation)
- Other Business
